Another TikTok refugee posted this video on 🇨🇳 Xiaohongshu (小红书 / Little Red Book / REDnote) a couple of days ago and soon afterwards a Chinese netizen identified the F-16 as one assigned to the 480th Fighter Squadron at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany… 🤔

On January 15th, an American netizen posted on Xiaohongshu: "I'm also interested in Marxism, but I've always been confused. Once we revolt, what do we do next? How do we proceed? How do we establish a stable government so that greedy people won't climb to the top and exploit others again?" The post was later deleted by the platform. At the bottom: "In America, we are discouraged from asking this question."

JUST NOW: As American users flood the platform, Xiaohongshu (RedNote) is scrambling to hire English moderators — a sign of wider censorship. Earlier this week, China's Cyberspace Administration warned Xiaohongshu to "ensure China-based users can’t see posts from US users."

CCP is willing to open up XiaoHongShu and Douyin internationally as TikTok ends, but something feels off… We should all be concerned by how much effort the Chinese government is willing to tolerate to maintain its grip on American Gen Z’s attention.
