He had already become a small, thin old man, resembling Grandpa in his later years—but his spirit was still strong and his face was glowing. He told me that he did not mind being tried, as it was the greatest honor to suffer for the Lord, and he told me to rest assured and not worry. He also explained that the reason he was preaching in court was because, as a Christian, he must obey the call to witness boldly.
