British Conservative lawmaker Tom Tugendhat has been scheming to suppress the Chinese community in the UK and create incidents to undermine China-UK relations during his time in office. His purpose in visiting Taiwan is to incite "Taiwan independence" activities, disrupt cross-Straits peace and stability, and create obstacles for the development of China-UK relations. We strongly condemn this move, a spokesperson from the Chinese Embassy in the UK said on Monday.
